Why Join
There are many benefits to a membership with the Ohio Appaloosa Association. Our club participates in many areas of the horse world involving Appaloosas and other breeds. We believe that our youth program is our most important aspect since they are the future customers and leaders in our communities.

Member Rewards
OAA Members Participation Rewards System
Each point earned represents a ticket. Each member will be given a tally sheet at the banquet which explains how every individual earned their tickets and how many they will receive.
You DO NOT need to be present to win, the board members will count tickets in front of club members for people that could not attend. These will be added into the drawing as well.
Every member’s tickets will be put into a drawing barrel, where the winners will be drawn from. We will have 3 winners for prizes ranging from gift certificates to cash!
Here’s how you can earn points:

| Come to a Regular meeting | 3 pts |
| Come to a social event or youth event | 3 pts |
| Serve as an Officer/BOD for a term(1 yr) | 5 pts |
| Refer a new member | 5 pts |
| Bring a DISH/supplies to a meeting/event | 2 pts |
| Work one of our events for a day(show/tack sale, etc.) | 10 pts |
| Work 1/2 of an event(show/tack sale, etc.) 1/2 day | 5 pts |
| Plan and organize a fundraiser/clinic | 10 pts |
| Attend a trail ride with your horse/rented horse OR attend without a horse and bring food and participate | 10 pts |
| Serve for a 1 year term on a committee | 10 pts |
| Attend the Opportunity Classic show with your horse | 10 pts |
| Sponsorship Points Awarded for each sponsor brought in by you for club sponsorship for shows and events | |
| $25 sponsor | 1 pt |
| $50 sponsor | 2 pts |
| $75 sponsor | 3 pts |
| $100 sponsor | 5 pts |
